CSTV has launched more than 100 Internet TV channels dedicated to live college sports. The service is called CSTV XXL and covers live events, whether it be college football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and more. Each Internet TV channel will be a "virtual arena", offering a total of more than 10,000 live events.

Watch the NFL online (see country restrictions)! NFL Game Pass, powered by Yahoo! Sports, will allow football fans outside of North America to watch every NFL game live and online in its entirety. NFL Game Pass is not available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda, Antigua, and U.S. Territories. Games broadcasted online will be streamed at up to 700 kbps.

DIRECTV will be offering the SUPERCAST service for 2008 NFL SUNDAY TICKET customers to access their games live on their PC. DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket customers who subscribe to the SuperFan service will have the entire weekly lineup of live NFL Sunday Ticket games streamed online to their PC or laptop computer every Sunday during the 2008 NFL regular season through DirecTV's SUPERCAST player.

NHL Hockey Online

NHL Hockey Live Online
NHL hockey is live and online in 2009. NHL Center Ice Online, NHL GameCenter Live, and ESPN360 Europe Online provide live streamed Internet versions of the NHL Center Ice out-of-market television package that lets you to access up to 40 live NHL games a week from outside your local viewing area on your computer. With NHL Center Ice Online, all the live action is only a click away. These NHL offerings are available only in certain countries at this time and a broadband connection is required. NBA is now available live online with their new "NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband" package. NBA League Pass lets TV subscribers access live NBA games online at no extra cost. It is only offered to active NBA League Pass satellite or digital cable subscribers and is not available on a stand alone basis. As a subscriber, you can also access your NBA League Pass games on your computer with NBA League Pass Broadband with the same local blackout rules in effect.

WWE Royal Rumble 2009

The main event of the 22nd annual Royal Rumble will be the traditional 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Watch the event on the Internet, starting at 8pm ET, as thirty Superstars and Extremists from all three brands will enter the ring based on the numbers they draw prior to the contest; numbers one and two will start the match, with another competitor entering every 90 seconds. Eliminations occur when someone is thrown over the top rope to the arena floor; once all 30 men have entered, the last man standing in the ring will be declared the winner and earn a main event championship match at WrestleMania 25.

Australian Open Tennis

Australian Open Online with ESPN360The 2009 Australian Open, the first of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, is held January 19-February 1 in Melbourne, Australia. Tournaments include men's and women's singles competitions; men's, women's, and mixed doubles; and junior's and master's competitions. 2008 singles winners were Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova.

UFC 93 Rich Franklin vs Dan Henderson

In the light heavyweight main event, former two-division world champion Dan Henderson will collide with former UFC middleweight king Rich Franklin in three-round war which will set the tone for the 205lbs division in 2009.
Then, 2005 PRIDE Grand Prix Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua returns to the Octagon™ to throw down with UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman in a rematch MMA fans thought they would never see. The pair last met in Japan in 2006, with the legendary Coleman pulling off a stunning upset by breaking Rua’s arm in the first round.

2008-09 Champions Hockey League

The Champions Hockey League, a new ice hockey league slated to launch for the 2008–09 season, replaces the IIHF European Champions Cup and includes the best teams in European ice hockey. Two teams from the Champions Hockey League and one team from the National Hockey League will play in the IIHF-run Victoria Cup. The 2008-2009 Champions Hockey League takes place in various European locations and starts October 8 and ends January 28. Events are broadcast live online by Universal Sports.

Carling Cup

The Carling Cup is an English knock-out football competition where the 20 clubs of the FA Premier League and the 72 clubs of The Football League play for place in the UEFA Europa League (if they haven't qualified for European competition in some other way and are not qualified for the Champions League). Current champions are Tottenham Hotspur.

2008-09 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup

The annually FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup is considered the premier competition for alpine ski racing after the Winter Olympics. Athletes attempt to achieve the best time in four disciplines: slalom, giant slalom, Super G, and downhill. The top 30 finishers are awarded points and the racer with the most points at the end of the season in mid-March wins the Cup. The 2008 Ladies (L) and Men (M) FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup starts November 15 in Levi, Finland, and ends March 15, 2009, in Are, Finland. Watch the races live online on Universal Sports.
