Rock am Ring and Rock im Park are two three-day rock music festivals held annually in Germany. Rock am Ring takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack in the west of Germany, Rock im Park in and around the Frankenstadion in Nuremberg, in the south east of Germany. With a combined attendance of over 150,000 people, they are the largest festivals in Germany and some two of the biggest festivals in the world.
Past headliners include U2, Joe Cocker, Foreigner, Marius Müller-Westernhagen, INXS, Simply Red, Sting, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel, Aerosmith, Radiohad, Rage Against the Machine, and many others.
