The African Movie Channel, AMC, is the Video-On-Demand channel launched in the UK on the Homechoice platform (now Tiscali TV), and NOW ONLINE. It is the first and only TV channel of its kind anywhere in the world, dedicated to top quality African movies from Nollywood and other major African motion picture houses. Nollywood is the enormously popular Nigerian film industry, and the third largest film industry in the world, behind Hollywood and India's Bollywood.
