James Smith, or as he is better known by so many, “Smitty”, has been involved in the sport of boxing for nearly 40 years. He kind of grew up in it as a young boy chasing The Greatest, Muhammad Ali, around the famed 5th Street Gym on Miami Beach where Smitty would eventually train himself in the ring and as a broadcaster. This dual training blossomed into a long career covering “The Sweet Science”, calling hundreds of championship fights in the U.S. and around the world and currently hosting America’s only syndicated boxing TV program IN THIS CORNER.
