The Bachelor Pad is a reality spin off from the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Contestants on the Bachelor Pad are picked from daters that appeared on the Bachelor and Bachelorette. The contestants are battling it out for a prize of $250,000. The prize makes the competition fierce and sometimes down right nasty. The contestants participate in competitions and whoever wins that week is safe and will not be "going home". They receive a rose when they are awarded with their safe status. Quite often the contestants hook up with each other, sometimes love, sometimes dollar signs Chris Harrison hosts the Bachelor Pad, oversees the competitions that take place and monitors the rose ceremony at the end of the show. At the end of the show the bachelorettes vote out one of the bachelors and the bachelors in turn vote out one of the bachelorettes.
