Tough a standard community college degree can be achieved in two years the cast of NBC’s comedy Community will be beginning their 3rd season in The Fall. The show centers on the story of Jeff Winger played by Joel McHale, a slightly shady attorney who is forced to attend Glendale Community College after the bar association learns his degree is less than authentic.

Jeff is a very reluctant student when the series begins. He joins a study group to flirt with a pretty coed named Britta (Gillian Jacobs). The rest of the study group is made up of an eclectic group of misfits including Pierce (Chevy Chase), Abed (Danny Pudi), Annie (Alison Brie), Troy (Donald Glover) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown). Viewers have watched Jeff grudgingly accept his time at Glendale and embrace a leadership role in the study group. They have also seen a show that has become one of the most creative and fearless comedies on the air. Episodes have spoofed zombie movies or M*A*S*H, turned the characters into classic stop motion animation figures or staged elaborate paint ball wars.
