The entertainment world has been buzzing ever since
Ray Romano burst on to the small screen. For nine seasons Creator and producer Phil Rosenthal and the writing staff of Everybody loves Raymond supported
Ray Romano as he dished out his true to life comedy situations for the whole world to see.
Everybody Loves Raymond is probably not like any other situation comedy that you have ever seen before. Although it is based on the life and goings on of Ray and his immediate family, his parents Frank and Marie Barone (
Peter Boyle &
Doris Roberts) along with his older sibling Robert Barone (
Brad Garrett) who live across the street contribute immensely to the endless laughter and the success of the show.
Family gatherings in Everybody Loves Raymond could just as easily be compared to the average viewer, which makes it easier for the viewers to relate and laugh out loud. Even though Ray is a sports writer, most of the episodes are centered around the relationship between his wife Debra Barone (
Patricia Heaton) and children.
As far as mother's in law go, Marie is forever putting Debra down along with her abilities to run a clean and efficient household. There are only a few times that Debra is ever complimented on her cooking and if you blink you will miss it. Taking a closer look at Frank (Rays father) could cause you to think of him as one of your uncles or a grandfather with his tyrant and colorful language.
