Family Guy is a popular animated comedy series created by Seth MacFarlane and distributed by 20th Century Fox Television. The show was created in 1999 and follows the adventures of lovable oaf Peter and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders. Other Family Guy stars include Lois, Peter’s loving wife who is former Miss Teen Rhode Island, 16-year old Meg, the family’s daughter and blunt of many jokes, 13-year old Chris, a kid who can’t make sense of the opposite sex, Brian, the family dog, who walks on two legs, drinks Martinis, smokes cigarettes, drives a car, and engages in human conversation, and lastly Stewie, the diabolical 1-year old with adult mannerisms, who often gets into trouble with Brian. The majority of the show is set in their hometown of Quahog, Rhode Island.
