Human Target is a New Breed of drama that combines a group of characters that a person would not expect to find doing what they do. A rich business woman, played by Indira Varma; a retired cop, played by Chi McBride; a misfit young woman, played by Janet Montgomery; and the mysterious stranger type, played by Jackie Earl Haley; all team up with the lead character, Christopher Chance, played by Mark Valley. Together they provide their unique skill sets to The Business of protecting the lives of complete strangers. This ultimately leads to trouble as they deal with a variety of powerful and deadly adversaries. Whatever the danger, it is just another day at the office for this motley crew who stay cool under fire.

Each character brings an interesting personality into the mix and the character interplay is as important as the struggles they face while on the job. Things do not always turn out so great for this crew but they manage to stick together through the hard times and help to keep their clients breathing. At the end of the day, that is all you can expect from a private security firm that pays their employees in cash as they do on Human Target.
