Saved By The Bell was a television show that was geared toward teenage audiences and these target audiences quickly fell in love with the show and enabled the show to become so popular that it was able to air consecutively from 1989 until 1993. The show focused primarily on issues that were affecting teenagers during
The Time frame that it aired. Issues that were addressed during the run of the sitcom included, but were not limited to drug use, peer pressure, and the responsibilities that accompanied becoming an adult.
The Saved By The Bell plot thickened primarily around six teenage students that were led during their school day by Mr. Belding played by
Dennis Haskins at Bayside High School. The characters that were focused on the students were Zack Morris played by
Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelly Kapowski played by
Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Lisa Turtle who was played by
Lark Voorhies, Samuel “Screech” Powers who was portrayed by actor
Dustin Diamond, A.C. Slater played by
Mario Lopez, and Jessie Spano played by actress
Elizabeth Berkley.
