Saving Grace is not your typical crime solving, cop drama. It's a character driven show about the frailties of life and how damages from the past can control and ruin a person's future. Hunter's portrayal of Grace is both enervating and poignant, showing a woman with flaws so deep, it scratches the underbelly of society while it rips her to pieces. Her past haunts her like a recurring sexual disease that pops up unexpectedly and has no cure.
