One of the first shots with my new Canon HV30. Tried to create depth of field-effect, without adapter and lenses. It's just the camera, playing around with manual focus and zoom. Gotta work on my steadyness though... I bought the HV30 after reading and seeing all the HV20/HV30 stuff on Vimeo. Canon ought to give this community some sponsorship money from their marketing budgets or whatever... Vimeo sells! Edited in Premiere and added a little bit of Magic Bullet for the coloring. Music is 'Felt Mountain' by Goldfrapp. I find this album very inspiring and atmospheric for filmmaking. Thought it worked nicely with the 'fairytale-ish' coloring as well...
