(Annoyingly, this video only works in standard def - despite the fact that this website is meant to be HD - switch HD off to view it) This is the first test I have done with my new, custom build camera rig. It is a Nikon 50mm prime lens (1.4) attached to a Letus Mini35 lens adaptor, which is stuck on the front of my Canon HV20 camcorder. Shot at HDV 25fps progressive. Shutter of 50, in the "TV" (Shutter Priority) mode. Has been scaled down to 720p and encoded to H264 for this site. The grain of the adaptor is hardly noticeable (and looks great when you do see it) in the original, but I notice that the H264ing is looking a bit crappy.
