Just wrapped my first feature film shot with a Letus35 Extreme adapter, an adaptation of Hamlet entitled Kitchen Hamlet, directed by Daniel Kramer. The film was ridiculously small with a crew of 6 and a cast of 17, and a budget under 12k. Shot on the HVX200 with a Nikkon lens kit, made up of a 24mm, 35mm, 48mm, 50mm, 55mm, 70mm, 105mm, 135mm, and 200mm. The entire picture was lit with a Mole 2k and two Arri kits. We had no track but some how pulled off some great dolly shots with just a doorway dolly. There was almost an entire weeks worth of night shooting, including wide exteriors. I have shot on virtually every camera setup from 35mm to digital, including previously shooting on other adapters, like the M2. Theses adapters have made it possible for indie film to get the narrative production value only available on much more high end set ups. However, with the limited resources and funds we had, I don't see how it would have been possible without the Extreme.
