Millions of fans around the world were stunned at the news of Michael Jackson’s death, June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles. The singer was preparing for a series of sold out concerts in London’s 02 Arena when he passed away. As fans mourn what might have been, the creative forces behind Jackson’s show were forward thinking enough to shoot lots of behind the scene and rehearsal footage, no doubt to produce a movie similar to Madonna’s 1991 Box Office hit “Truth or Dare.” The result is the upcoming “Michael Jackson: This Is It.” Beginning October 28th, the performance film will enjoy a two week run in theaters.
