iReport — Yep, I’d rather be videoing other people for a CNN story.After finishing with a Client in NE Georgia around lunchtime, I headed for home after finishing some work I had to get done.Out of habit, I always put my digital video camcorder on the dash and set it to record when driving. I often see wrecks and news events, I wasn't planning on being a part of the video myself.A local senior citizen turned in front of me while I was going Southbound on GA-365 (The North end of I-985) at Lula Rd. Hwy 52. I usually watch intersections expecting people to blow through a traffic light from left or right, she surprised me by turning left in front of me while she was facing me. I had hoped blowing the horn would get her attention to make her stop or speed up.When she didn't react I went right hoping she would hit the brakes and I would drive around in front of her and miss her.....no luck, she kept coming without ever seeing me.Her passenger, also a female Senior Citizen.....I can't describe the terror I saw in her eyes and face as my van bared down on her on that side. My instinct reaction was to cut back left and hope to make a glancing blow and not hit the front passenger door where she was sitting.My plan almost worked....I did T-Bone the Lincoln just behind and into the rear passenger door. Getting out of the van and being a bit rattled myself from the Air Bag blowing up in my face. Once I was getting me senses back, My fear was that I had killed her.To my amazement and by the grace of god, she was alert and awake. She told me her knees, back and neck may be injured. I was on the phone with 911 and around to the driver, also a Senior Lady. She had bruising and lacerations on her left wrist, but seemed okay otherwise.As I was talking to a witness and trying to get a grip on the situation still, he described her car going airborne into the large pickup truck sitting at the light.....I asked "What Pickup Truck?"
