cheap depth of field adapter using 35mm camera body

This is all done using an old 35mm camera that was laying around. These are pretty easy to find on craigs list. I cut the camera sides of to make it lighter to hold. I am using a normal Sony DVD camcorder to make these images. Tell me what you think for a first pass at this.
