This segment begins with the Nomad standing on the lake Champlain Bridge as he crosses over from New York to Vermont. With the North Country Trail now behind him, the Nomad continues on to Vermont to hike 52 miles to connect his NCT hike to his Appalachian Trail Hikes of 1998 (northbound) and 2000 (southbound).
