Aiptek Z600 test Here is some observations that this test shows 1-Color issues, for example red's tend to appear as pinks and surface that are iluminated appear as shining until the focus adjusts itself, and once it adjusts itself it still not perfect but is much better. The room where the video was taken has 2 energy saving light bulbs of 18watts(i guess it acts like florescent light bulbs), of which one was right next to the target area i was trying to show the shiny colors. 2-the zoom you can hear the motor, but i guess I won't be using the zoom in-out button as is very fragile and dificult to use, in fact it ratles. I think one way around to bypass the zoom button is to use the remote control which offers the same functions available in the camera itself, the only thing with this is that the sensor is in the front of the camera, below the flash and right where the fingers hold the camera, i guess one can also hold the camera half way down, while using the remote control. 3-The music playing in the background was coming from my philips stereo and was set at number 1 in the volume, which is the lowest it can go (to give you an idea 10 to 16 certainly would be party atmosphere), the microphone is certainly very sensitive as it can pickup that level of music from other rooms in the same floor with the doors open. On another test video which I have not uploaded I plug the output sound from my pc headphones directly to the camera external mic, so i was not using any microphone and the recorded sound was extremely loud, when compared to what was coming out to my pc head set, so it seems that the firmware certainly dictates the level of sound the camera records. One thing i also did test before was to tap the camera with my nail gently while recording and see if the microphone was behaving in the same way as in the ahd200 with the 1.6 firmware and in my opinion is not... i'm still finding more about the features maybe there is a away to turn down the recordi...
