During the Summer of 2009 the Ordway’s stage was completely resurfaced. After 25 years of presenting a wide variety of the finest in American musical theater, world music, dance, jazz, and vocal artists the floor could no longer be sanded down. The Main Hall went dark all summer in order to tear up and replace the stage floor. The project lasted 8 weeks with work from local and national contractors. Thank you to all those who participated!
