This is my attempt to start with basics and learn animation from the ground up starting with rubber hose animation. I copied a few key poses from a vintage Bosko cartoon and filled in the inbetweens. Old cartoons that Bosko starred in were timed to musical beats. This animation is at 24 drawings per second. The cycle also repeats every 24 drawings. Bosko is bouncing up and down on a 12X beat, meaning that he bounces twice every second.
