The Queen Elizabeth 2 leaves its Southampton berth in the Eastern Dock for the last time amongst tears and high emotion. Filmed on a Sony EX1. The first 1 min 38 secs of the film uses the slow shutter function speeded up 500% in post. The soundtrack is Massenet's Meditation from Tbais which was chosen for it's mood and also the piece is in the same key as the QE2's Horn which can be heard at the end of the film.
