Jon Stewart is an American actor, comedian, and television host most well known for hosting the highly acclaimed and awarded The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Jon Stewart began hosting The Daily Show on Comedy Central in 1999 after Craig Kilborn left the show. Since Stewart became the host, The Daily Show has been wildly successful and has won numerous awards including two Peabody Awards and twelve Emmy Awards.

In addition to The Daily Show, Jon Stewart has appeared in a number of film and television parts, including Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, American Dad, Evan Almighty, and The Simpsons.
