Louis Walsh is a successful talent scout, band manager and TV host from Kiltimagh, Ireland. Some of the talents he spotted and managed include singer and songwriter Johnny Logan who won the 25th Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, the Irish version of boyband Take That named Boyzone, Ronan Keating, Westlife Six, Bellfire, and Lulu.

Walsh also appeared as a judge on various talent shows including the Irish version of Popstars, You're A Star, Popstars: The Rivals along with Pete Waterman and Geri Halliwell, and The X Factor along with Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne (quit in 2008), Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.
