Get with the Times! - HD Animations Contest

MyToons.com announced the launch of its latest innovative and imaginative contest for animators all over the world. Get with the Times!, an HD animation contest sending one Grand Prize Winner to New York City to see their animation played on a Clear Channel billboard, powered by Adobe® Flash technology, in Times Square. Animators are invited to submit their HD animations at MyToons.com/contests/TimesSquare.

Running through September 4, 2008, Get with the Times! invites animators to upload their HD animations for a chance to win a two-night trip to New York City to eat dinner at the strategically located and world renowned Chop Suey restaurant while watching their animation play once every hour on the Spectacolor HD Clear Channel billboard over Times Square. In addition to this all-inclusive trip, the winner will also take home a copy of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection.

StarHub to Broadcast UEFA EURO 2008 Live Online

StarHub, Singapore’s official broadcaster of the UEFA EURO 2008, announced that it will offer all UEFA EURO 2008 matches 'live’ across all three of its platforms - cable TV, mobile and online. StarHub will also make available the entire tournament in high-definition. The highly-anticipated event, one of the world’s most-watched sports events, will take place in Austria and Switzerland from 8 June to 30 June 2008. Viewers in Singapore can catch all the spectacular UEFA EURO 2008 action with the STARHUB UEFA EURO 2008 Season Pass, available for purchase from 2 April 2008.

UFC Announces YAHOO! as New Distributor for Online PPV

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) organization today announced Yahoo! will be the new online distributor for UFC live Pay-Per-View (PPV) events, via Yahoo! Sports. Fans can view the next UFC event, UFC 82: PRIDE OF A CHAMPION, on March 1, 2008 at http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/ufcppv/82.
