Are We There Yet? is a family orientated sitcom which first aired in 2010. The sitcom is based around the film that also boasted the same name. The show centers itself around a family that is trying to adjust to new situations and still stay focused on being a family while getting to know each other as a blended family.

The family that, Are We There Yet? is centered around is the Kingston-Persons family. The mother Suzanne Kingston-Persons played by Essence Atkins and her new husband Nick Persons played by Terri Crews are recently married and are trying to blend their new family successfully. Suzanne brings to the plot of Are We There Yet? a daughter known as Lindsey Kingston played by actress Teala Dunn and a son Kevin Kingston acted by Coy Stewart. Other primary characters include Marty who is Nick’s best friend and is played by Christian Finnegan, Gigi who is Suzanne’s coworker played by Keesha Sharp, and Nick’s mother Marilyn Persons portrayed by Telma Hopkins.

Are we there yet? is now in its second season and is aired on a weekly basis on TBS.
