Conan O’Brien is an experienced talk show host that brings his expertise to the hilarious late night show simply called Conan. His experience started when he had the show Late Night with Conan O’Brien which aired for 16 years and had 2,725 episodes. He was tabbed by NBC to be the replacement for Jay Leno and the Tonight Show but that gig only lasted from June 1, 2009 to January 22nd, 2010.

When Conan O’Brien was forced to leave the Tonight Show there was a lot of controversy and public outcry that eventually led to the Conan show on TBS. His current show is an hour long and airs from Monday thru Thursday. This is a traditional late night American talk show but with crazy twists and turns that come from Conan’s electric personality.

Conan features Conan O’Brien as the main star. He opens the show with a comedy dialogue that gets jokes from recent events, news, celebrities, political figures, and other relevant sources. The opening dialogue features interactions with his sidekick Andy Richter and the audience. There is normally at least one skit that features many different characters and comedy situations.

After the opening dialogue and skits guest interviews are conducted. Guests include many notable celebrities, politicians, and musicians. The Conan show will end with a musical guest or comedic performance. The show also features a House Band called Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band. The Band and Andy Richter do a fantastic job of interacting with Conan O’Brien to form great comedic situations.
