Funny or Die Presents is a unique creation originating from the funny bones of well known comedians Will Ferrell and his super side kick Adam McKay. These guys also claim to have started the popular Funny or Die website. The show premiered in February 2010 and has a diehard viewer base.
In June of 2008 HBO bought a considerable share of the website Funnyordie.com and that is when Funny or Die Presents was born. As part of the deal a minimum of 10 episodes had been commissioned to be broadcasted on HBO.

The show is made up of a string of comedy sketches of various lengths or it can even be one full length sketch. The show is now known as FOD and is presented in a format that appears as if you’re viewing a television network. The television network is called “Funny or Die Network” and each sketch is like a show or mini-series on this network.
The show Funny or Die Presents utilizes a lot of computer technology and is now at the forefront leading The Way in comedy programming. It has become a network unto itself and there is currently nothing else like it on television, cable or the internet.
