Greek, an ABC Family original series, is about a group of college students navigating the world of sororities and fraternities at a fictitious Ohio university.
Casey Cartwright (played by
Spencer Grammer) is a pretty, uber-popular sorority girl who has spent her first few years at Cyprus-Rhodes University telling everyone she’s an only child. She’s dating Evan Chambers (
Jake McDorman), a wealthy member of a Greek fraternity, and planning to run for president of her sorority. Her life is perfect.
Enter Rusty Cartwright (
Jacob Zachar), her younger brother. He’s anti-social, geeky and awkward--everything Casey isn’t. When Rusty shows up at Cyprus-Rhodes and decides to join a fraternity, he turns Casey’s perfect life upside down.
Aside from having an incredibly challenging major and an uptight roommate with a penchant for Christian rock and the Confederate flag, Rusty is faced with a choice: does he join the influential fraternity that Casey’s current boyfriend leads, or the party fraternity with a bad reputation that is led by Cappie (
Scott Michael Foster), Casey’s ex-boyfriend who might still have feelings for her? And how will his choice affect his relationship with Casey?
Greek follows the Cartwright siblings as they make friends-- and enemies --in and out of the Greek system.
