The Real Housewives of Atlanta is making a huge impact on reality TV. With sometimes as many as 4 million viewers, it’s Bravo’s highest rated reality series, and the highest rated series of all of the “Housewives” programs.

Currently staring NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Sheree Whitfield, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, and Cynthia Bailey, all successful business women, there are already plans to add new cast members in the coming seasons. While it’s not been officially announced, it is rumored, that Real Housewives of Atlanta will pick up Marlo Hampton as the new “Housewife.” Marlo is the fiancé of Charles Grant, who plays football for the Chicago Bears.

The show takes a personal look at the lives of six of Atlanta’s fabulous socialites, from all walks of life. There is an attorney, a Grammy award winning record producer, a news correspondent, a super model, and a wig designer who with their other extra cast members struggle to keep home while trying to succeed in one of America’s greatest and hottest entertainment cities.

Viewers are torn between who they like and who they hate, but all are watching closely at who respects or disrespects their particular favorite cast member. Some reader reviews show the intensity of their love of the program, and their like or dislike of a particular program star. But, in every case, viewers have a passion for the show, and reflect deep emotions of the things that happen, and the people they affect.
