Robot Chicken began airing on February 10th, 2005 and since then Four Seasons have been produced, totaling 76 episodes; in 2007 it was the highest rated original show on Cartoon Network's “Adult Swim.” It has featured over a hundred and forty celebrity guest stars in addition to twenty-one original cast members. Robot Chicken's theme song was composed and performed by The Band Primus' Les Claypool, who also speaks the only words in the song, “It's alive,” which is a reference to classic Frankenstein movies.

Robot Chicken is a series of stop-motion sketch comedies featuring various toys, action figures, dolls, and clay figures, as well as random objects like game pieces from board games. Each episode runs at about eleven minutes each, and they are all free-standing; the show follows no central plot. Produced and created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, Robot Chicken's sketches mostly focus on mocking pop culture, such as television, movies, music, and parodying popular fads. Another common theme in Robot Chicken is placing popular characters and toys into real life situations.
